Thrillers is a guild for people who enjoy ALL ascpects of the game. Thus we don't ignore questing for instances or raiding, and vice versa. We don't know know if we'll ever become a large guild. Toons of all levels are welcome and given the same consideration as level 80 toons.

Because we are fairly new as of March 2009, our guildelines are still evolving. Members have input; officers make the final decision. our guidelines are a bit stricter than most other WoW guilds. We want a mature guild with members who are a good fit.

1. Sheepthrillers are automatically accepted.

2. Invites are only issued to people known by a member for at least two weeks ingame or in real life.

3. New members are ranked Initiates and are on a 2-week probbation. If after 2 weeks, the majority of the guild feels the fit is good, and the new member feels the fit is good, probation is lifted. If there is disagreement on the fit, the guild members' choice rules.

4. Good guild etiquette is expected. When you log in, greet your fellow guildies in guild chat if nothing else. If you're having a bad day, just don't feel like talking, playing at work (shame), or maybe doing serious questing once in a while that's a-okay. If you never socialize, we'll begin to wonder why you are in a guild.

5. We use first names on vent rather than toon names. If you have a problem due to privacy or stalker issues, discuss this with either the Guild Master or the Assistant Guild Master.

6. Mild cussing is allowed - but extreme rants full of very foul language is NOT. If it happens and offends many people, and the behavior doesn't stop, expect to be booted.

6. Promotions are based on activity, participation, use of vent, and the goodwill you generate.

Some general examples are:

If Thrillers isn't your main guild and you only get on your alt with us once a day for 10 minutes, you won't be promoted until and if you play with us more often.

If we know you and know that you only play a couple of times a week, but you are consistent and participate fully when you do, you'll be promoted.

If you play a lot but never use vent, you won't be promoted to the highest rank available. Yes, Virginia, there is a glass ceiling.
